“Thank you for visiting our website. Let me start by introcucing myself. My name is Adriaan van Gent. I was born and raised in The Netherlands, and though I love to travel and work internationally, I’m happy to call this small country my home.

For over 20 years I have worked as a technical engineer at the Maritime Research Institute Netherlands, MARIN, in Wageningen.

I have loved working for this fantastic employer, but I love my freedom and regular new challenges. That is why, in 2017, I started Gent Technical Service (GTS), as my own company. For a time I combined the two, but in april 2020 I left MARIN to launch GTS properly.

Right now I focus on multiple industries. Maritime, Civil & Offshore and Technical Services are all part of my wide range of skills. I am specialised in installing Datum Electronics Shaft Power Measurement kits. Besides that, the on site application of straingauges (in cooperation with  Strukton Immersion Projects)  is part of my expertise.

I’m happy to work alone, and in larger teams, cooperating with people from my own network or new colleagues.
